Let’s all go to the beach!

This post is also available in: esEspañol (Spanish)

Let’s all get together and help our our friends at the Sabrina Cohen Foundation win a grant to build a BEACH for ALL on Miami Beach! Lily’s friend Miles feels it is very important Lily get to play with him on the playground. He is quoted in an article mentioned in this post! Please take a moment to vote. Today is the last day. MaryEdwardsRemonAs the contest draws to a close, I wanted to thank everyone for their incredible support. *Check out this touching article in The Examiner by Charlotte Libov: http://www.examiner.com/…/supporters-help-sabrina-cohen-spr…
*My favorite part of the article: “Miles Remon, age 6, came with his mother, Mary, who is an SCF volunteer. ‘Everybody should be able to go to the beach,’ said Miles, whose good friend, Lily, is in a wheelchair. ‘If children like Lily could go to the beach it would change their lives,’ added Miles, who brought with him a hand-lettered sign in support of Cohen, and wore his ‘Super Power’ cape to provide extra help.” Go Miles! :)) The contest wraps up today, and the results won’t be announced until June 16th. The outpouring of support was amazing, and that the work of creating the beach will go on. In the meantime, this is the last day to vote for Sabrina Cohen’s dream of an accessible beach for all at www.sabrinacohenfoundation.org.
Thank you all for an amazing campaign!
